This Privacy Policy explains how Bedlam Inc (“Bedlam,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this website and our sales and consulting activities. It does not govern the software we license to customers; that is addressed in the applicable customer agreement.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to talk to you and run this site:
- Contact details you submit. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build marketing profiles.
Your operational data stays with you
Our products are built to run local-first. Bedlam Control and Bedlam Bazaar keep your operational data on hardware you control. We do not receive, store, or have access to that data as part of the software’s normal operation. This page concerns only the limited information described above.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide demos, quotes, and consulting.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed for that purpose. These currently include our website host and our transactional email provider. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and correspondence records for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward for business and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify them.
